I Felt You

http://melanie-rodriguez.blogspot.in/2011/12/issue-10-papier-mache.html

I felt you in the wind so high
In the rising sun far in the sky
I felt you when the music fell
In places where men fear to dwell

I felt you on a summer breeze
In the tentative buzz of honey bees
I felt you in the arcane call
Of a bird that chirped into the fall

I felt you in the silver moon
Benighted, when the light fell too soon
I felt you in a wilted petal
Unseen until the dust had settled

I felt you in a crumbling wall
Where thin cracks had begun to crawl
I felt you in a feral cat
Who mellowed down beyond the spat

I felt you everywhere until
The universe grew old and rather still
When time itself had ceased to be
We coalesced- you into me
